RED DOG RUN — WEDNESDAY 27th. MAY.

With the start of Covid19 restrictions being lifted a little bit, we decided it was time to get our cars out and catch up, with responsible distancing with our friends. It’s been a long time since we have met at Macca’s at Lucus.

We met in the Carpark and went in for a take-away and after being moved on from the doorway went back and spread out into smaller group for a long overdue chat and catch up.

Two Police cars went through and slowed down-counting our numbers and I think because we were Old Farts they kept going. Not young blokes in Hot Commodores.

Attendees:- Paul Irvin–FE, Graeme Henderson–EK Ute, Peter Wilmot–SLE Commodore, Neil Leckie–FE, Greg Turner–FX, Rob Whitten–HG S/Wagon and David and Ashliegh Trengove, Theo Gooseens, John Bourke, Alan Darrell and Paul Furneaux.

About 11:15 some left us and eight went on a little cruise out to Clunes.

Lunch and a Coffee from the Bakery and we set up a Socially Distanced area in the manicured and spotless park and enjoyed lunch and a bit more bulls–t and catch up. Great to get our cars out for a Club Run.

Next Red Dog will be Wednesday 24th.of June, meeting at Macca’s Lucus for a similar catch up.

All welcomed.

As restrictions are eased more we will have more organized Runs.

Rob Whitten.
